With 9 pristine beaches spanning 7+ miles of sand along Saco Bay, from Pine Point Beach to Camp Ellis Beach on the mouth of the Saco River, we have a beach to fit your every mood. And if you’re not feeling like a beach day, then get out and explore some of Maine’s natural surroundings by visiting one of our local parks or scenic nearby state parks.

Pine Point Beach

A long sandy beach on Saco Bay that extends from the jetty at Pine Point to Old Orchard Beach. This sandy 4 mile long beach is very popular with families; has good parking; and offers water sport equipment rentals & a snack bar.

Bay View Beach

Bayview Beach is a small stretch of sandy beach that sits between Kinney Shores Beach and Ferry Beach in Saco ME. Bayview is a quiet beach, perfect for sunbathing and beach combing. Lifeguards are stationed from 10am to 5pm every day during the Summer.

Grand Beach

This small, sandy beach lies between Pine Point Beach (Scarborough) and Surfside Beach (Old Orchard). It is renowned for its excellent swimming conditions and high water temperatures throughout July and August.

Old Orchard Beach

Old Orchard Beach has a wonderful beach for sunbathing and swimming. But you can also find bodysurfing, volleyball, jet skiing, or just enjoy walking along the white sandy shoreline of 7+ miles.

Ocean Park Beach

This beach area is in Ocean Park, a historic cottage community within Old Orchard Beach. Ocean Park Beach runs along the 7-mile stretch of Old Orchard Beach.

Kinney Shores Beach

Kinney Shores beach is located off Seaside Avenue on Saco Bay. There are lifeguards on duty during the day from the end of June until the middle of August.

Ferry Beach

Ferry Beach is located within Ferry Beach State Park. At the beach you can enjoy views of the Saco Bay, go for a swim, dig for clams, or go beach combing.

Camp Ellis Beach

A small quiet sandy beach located at the mouth of the Saco River on Saco Bay in Saco Maine. Great for beach combing or just sunbathing.

Scarborough Marsh Nature Center

Scarborough Marsh Audubon Nature Center provides guided and self-guided walks along a nature trail as well as canoe tours and exhibits that allow visitors to explore the habitat and wildlife of Maine’s largest salt marsh.

Rotary Park Biddeford

You will find something to suit every family member at this 72-acre riverside park. A day filled with family fun can include boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, skateboarding, playgrounds, athletic fields, and even a youth center. This is a great little park that includes a beach for fresh water swimming and a boat launch all within a short distance drive of Old Orchard Beach.

Clifford Park Biddeford

This recreation area includes a playground, basketball court and picnic area. There is an extensive network of trails for hiking and mountain biking for riders of all ability levels.

Veteran’s Memorial Park

Veteran’s Memorial Park has a playground, basketball and tennis courts, picnic area and hosts events all summer long. In addition to a ball field, basketball and tennis courts and playground, this community park also features a monument honoring veterans. The park is located on Staple and Heath Street, across from the Chamber of Commerce and Amrtrak station in downtown Old Orchard Beach.

Guild Park

Guild Park is a 10 acre old-growth white pine and spruce grove located in the Ocean Park community of Old Orchard Beach. It offers scenic walking trails and a covered footbridge.

Surfside Beach

This is a small, sandy stretch of beach between Grand Beach and Old Orchard Beach that provides some of the best bodysurfing/windsurfing in Maine.
