The Beachwood Motel is a family friendly oceanfront lodging establishment located in the heart of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Each unit is newly remodeled and offers a full kitchenette, Keurig coffee machine, DVD player, flat screen television and a fresh beach decor.

We provide complimentary coffee, newspapers, beach chairs and umbrellas, long distance telephone calls are free as is quality WIFI access and we provide onsite coin-operated laundry for our guests.

Our beachfront pool is heated with plenty of seating and our front lawn has a barbeque area with 3 Weber grills for guests to use and additional lounge chairs. Our prime location offers spectacular ocean views and a very short walk to area attractions, restaurants, entertainment and amusements. We are an eco-friendly establishment that has invested significantly to reduce our impact on the environment.

Guests can swim in the heated outdoor pools or relax on the deck. A lawn area with lounge chairs is also provided.

The stay was beyond our expectations! The staff were friendly. Beach access was steps away. There was also a complimentary Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby that made the stay even better. The light show also was enjoyable at the hotel. There is also a bar on site offering beer selections and special cocktails such as a pin-a-colada. There are also a couple of grills on site that any guests can use. The rooms have a kitchenette with utensils. We will visit again and probably make a nice dinner in the kitchenette. The Shack is a nearby restaurant that serves excellent clam chowder and other good food! Highly recommend!!!!! A++++

Room was very clean, view of the ocean from second floor is wonderful, perfect location with ocean bordering property. The pool is very clean and the outside bar and fire pit for the evening time is a great place for couples and families to gather. There is music on the property at night but by 10:00 p.m. the noise level is low. There is a lot of activity for families and couples close by as well. I would highly recommend this motel if staying in Old Orchard Beach.

The Beachwood is exceptional (by old New England beach town standards). The hotel has arguably the best location in OOB. Plenty of free parking (1 car per room). Incredible water temp & pressure in the shower. Full kitchenettes with modern appliances (stove, fridge, microwave, keurig). Updated room decor with LVP flooring. White noise machines in each room to mitigate street noise from the center-of-everything location. Heated outdoor pool, hot tub, fire pit, poolside bar/snack bar, grills & lounge chairs. Literally steps from the sand, Nightly half hour music/light show. Mattresses aren’t the best, and the pillows are awful, but even with that, you’d be hard pressed to find a better hotel in OOB. Will definitely come back here again!!
